Design and construction

The Sim Pedals Sprint are designed for home use, ideal for Esports simulators and sim racing enthusiasts. For professional driving training and commercial applications, check out the Heusinkveld Sim Pedals Ultimate+.

Engineering

The Sim Pedals Sprint are manufactured from CNC precision laser cut steel. All metal profiles have a RAL7016 Anthracite Grey powder coating or a blinded semi-gloss metal appearance. The pedals are fully tested for EMC compliance, ensuring a stable output signal regardless of other electronic components used in your simulator. Mathematical models have been developed to accurately calculate pedal travel and force curves, allowing the behaviour of each pedal in different configurations to be predicted very precisely. These pedals include new concepts for bearings and pivot points to minimise unnecessary backlash.

The Heusinkveld Sim Pedals Sprint use durable load cells to measure the position of the accelerator pedal and the force applied to the brake pedal. Unlike designs with rotary potentiometers, load cells offer true linear output in relation to your pedal output.

Braking system

The brake pedal features a dual-stage braking system. This consists of an adjustable initial coil spring that simulates the distance between the brake pads and the disc, as well as progressive rubber springs. You can choose from six different rubber stack heights, and the angle and height of the pedal can also be adjusted. A 120 kg load cell measures up to 65 kg (143 lbs) of maximum actual braking force. This braking system is suitable for sim racers who want to apply considerable force while braking, as well as those who prefer much lower working pressures.

Accelerator

The throttle is smooth, precise and highly customisable. It offers you excellent control over any race car. You can set the accelerator exactly how you want it by adjusting the pedal's force curve, spring preload, pedal angle and height. In addition, you can choose from five different pedal travel options.

Powered by Heusinkveld SmartControl Software

The Sim Pedals Sprint come with a powerful configuration tool called SmartControl. This tool allows you to tune your pedals. SmartControl works with all-new electronics and allows instant mapping of (non-linear) pedal output curves, pedal dead zones and brake pedal force. Good to know: all settings can be stored in profiles and loaded in a few mouse clicks. Also, all adjustments can be made without recalibrating the pedals.

We also offer an optional montageplate for the Sim Pedals Sprint: the Sim Pedals Sprint Baseplate. Please note that these pedals cannot be installed on a floor without further support, or in a steering position where there is no solid connection between the pedals and the seat. A full frame rig/simulator is required for the Sim Pedals Sprint, even when using the optional Sim Pedals Sprint Baseplate. This product is compatible with PC/Windows platforms running Windows 10 or newer. It cannot be used on consoles such as Xbox or Playstation or on Linux.
