Applications

The Heusinkveld Sim Pedals Ultimate+ are designed for high-end professional motorsports simulators and can be used in the following driving simulator environments:

• For professional driving training.
• For home use (e.g. eSports simulators, simracing enthusiasts).

Engineering

The pedals have a strong, durable and adaptable construction that can handle up to 140 kg of actual force on the brake pedal (200 kg loadcell). Designed with CAD and FEA, all structural components are CNC precision laser cut stainless steel with a glass bead blown finish.

The all-new custom-made brake elastomers are smooth, responsive and offer unprecedented progressive braking resistance (concave force curve), just like you would have in a real racing car. During compression and rebound, they have solid bump and rebound characteristics. They retain their like-new properties even after thousands of races.

The Sim Pedals Ultimate's bespoke hydraulic dampers are ultra-reliable and require no periodic maintenance. The throttle pedal features a unidirectional hydraulic damper that resists velocity during the input stroke. This helps soften throttle response and is also used on many real cars for this purpose. The amount of damping can be adjusted.

The load cell assemblies of the Sim Pedals Ultimate+ offer true linear input measurement of throttle position and braking force. Their accuracy and durability are second to none, as they do not wear out over time. Custom non-linear output curves can be freely configured using the Heusinkveld SmartControl software.

The pedals have passed full EMC compliance tests, ensuring a stable output signal regardless of other electronic components used in your simulator.

The Sim Pedals Ultimate+ come with a powerful configuration tool, SmartControl, which allows you to set up your pedals. A key feature of SmartControl is the ability to set custom signal output maps per pedal. Combined with brand new electronics, SmartControl allows instant mapping of (non-linear) pedal output curves, pedal kill zones and brake pedal force. There is support for storing an unlimited number of profiles.

For the Sim Pedals Ultimate+, we also offer an optional montag support: the Sim Pedals Ultimate+ Baseplate.Please note that these pedals cannot be installed on a floor without further support, or in a steering position where there is no solid connection between the pedals and the seat. A full frame rig/simulator is always required for the Sim Pedals Ultimate+, even if you use the optional Sim Pedals Ultimate+ Baseplate.

This product is compatible with the PC / Windows platform and cannot be used on consoles such as Xbox or Playstation.

With the Heusinkveld Sim Pedals Sprint capable of handling high brake loads, a sturdy montage to your simulator rig is an absolute must. If you don't want to mount the pedals directly to your rig but want to place them on a base plate first, Heusinkveld offers an optional sturdy montagel solution.

The Heusinkveld Sim Pedals Sprint Baseplate allows flexible positioning of individual pedals and also comes with an adjustable heel plate.

Baseplate engineering

This base plate helps create a solid platform for mounting the Sim Pedals Sprint on your rig. The brake of the Sim Pedals Sprint can handle up to 65 kg of force, the standard montagest supports of rigs can show excessive flexibility under these loads. The base plate consists of several elements:

• A pedal plate (for mounting your pedals)
• A height-adjustable heel plate
• Two supports (to fix the base plate)

You also receive montaget accessories for the pedals and for attaching the base plate to a 6 mm thick underlying plate.

The montag points for the pedals on the pedal plate are slots, these slots allow lateral adjustment of individual pedals. The dimensions of these lateral slots are 29 mm for the brake and 24 mm for the accelerator pedal and clutch. Each pedal can also be adjusted 12.5 mm forwards and backwards via the slots in the pedal feet themselves.

The heel plate is height adjustable, you can place it in the standard position (0 mm elevation) or use spacers (20 mm and 40 mm) to raise it. These spacers are included and supplied to place the heel plate in an elevated position.

Compatibility

The Sim Pedals Sprint Baseplate is only compatible with Heusinkveld Sim Pedals Sprint 2 or 3 pedal sets.

The montagel holes on the supports are compatible with TM T3PA and T3PA Pro (235 mm) pedal sets. There are six montagel points, these provide plenty of options to attach the base plate to aluminium profiles or create your own drilling jig to install the base plate directly on your rig.

Note: this base plate does not allow the pedals to be installed on a floor without further support or in a steering position. A full frame rig/simulator is always required.
