Why I review

At www.simracinghub.nl, everything is about real experience. From pure and inner passion, I help other simracers further in their journey - from beginners to seasoned drivers. Everything I do is about growth, knowledge sharing and inspiration. I test, use and compare products myself, so I can honestly share what really works and what can be improved. My reviews are written personally, critically and honestly from the cockpit, with the aim of helping and inspiring the community. No empty marketing talk, but genuine findings from real life.

I believe that real reviews are not born from press releases or sponsored scripts, but from hours of testing, tinkering, racing and optimising. That is why I spend a lot of time on every product I review - from unboxing to fine-tuning, from montage to daily use.

Product ownership

The products I review, in principle, remain in my possession. This is a conscious choice, so that I can use them long term and continue to show them in future content: videos, photos, comparisons, and in my own sim setup. This ensures continued visibility and authentic exposure for brands.

In consultation, it is also possible to supply products temporarily for testing purposes. Here, clear agreements are made about the test period, use and possible return. I always handle test products as if they were my own. In case of damage or defects, I contact you immediately to discuss the best solution.

Briefly: By retaining or testing products for long periods of time, I can ensure quality, reliability and long-term visibility. It is also a form of appreciation and compensation for the time, knowledge and energy I invest in testing, writing, filming and promoting each product.

Planning & Publication

Quality takes time. I work with a fixed content schedule in which several projects and test phases run in parallel. Each product gets the attention it deserves. That is why I cannot guarantee a hard delivery date. In case of joint product launches or press moments, I like to coordinate the publication moment in consultation, so that timing and exposure are optimally aligned with the brand strategy. Each review goes through its own process of testing, writing, editing and publishing - so that the final content is not only informative, but also inspiring.

Fair and constructive reviews

My reviews are based on personal experience, but always with an objective view. I discuss what is good, but also what could be better. This is the only way my content remains credible. Even in collaborations or sponsored projects, I retain full editorial freedom. Brands know I am honest - and that is precisely what makes my opinion valuable.

I also provide constructive feedback that brands can use to further improve their products. In this way, not only the consumer, but also the manufacturer benefits from my experiences.

Reimbursement & Transparency

I work partly on the basis of collaboration agreements, affiliate links and sometimes sponsored projects. Whenever a collaboration or compensation applies, I always clearly state this with the relevant review or content. Transparency is paramount, both towards brands and the community.

Affiliate links have no impact on the content or rating of my review. They are just a way to recoup some of the costs and time I invest so that I can continue to grow this platform.

All collaborations are only undertaken with brands that match my vision, passion and quality standards. My opinion always remains independent and honest - regardless of the nature of the collaboration.

Forms of cooperation

I offer different forms of collaboration, depending on the type of product, target audience and content objective:

• Product sample review - Product remains in possession or is temporarily delivered, depending on arrangements.
• Affiliate partnership - Integration of tracking links for measurable conversions and performance analysis.
• Paid collaboration - Sponsorship deals where content is clearly labelled as collaboration.
• Content collab - Joint production such as a behind-the-scenes video, hands-on shoot or brand spotlight.

Products supplied through distributors or PR partners are subject to the same conditions as direct collaborations with brands. In all cases, independence, diligence and credibility are key. Each project is set up with a focus on measurable value for the brand - from visibility to traffic and community engagement.

For pre-release products or confidential projects, I always respect NDAs and embargoes agreed in advance.

Images & Ownership

All photos, videos, text and graphics I create as part of a review or collaboration are the property of www.simracinghub.nl. Brands may use this material only with written permission and with clear acknowledgement of the source.

Reviews or excerpts thereof may be shared with a direct link to the original article. Commercial reuse (such as advertisements or webshop listing) is only allowed after approval. This protects my creative work and ensures that the context of my review is preserved.

Shipping & product condition

Unless otherwise agreed, shipping costs of test products will be borne by the brand or supplier. Products should be delivered in good, complete and working condition. In case of faulty or incomplete deliveries, I always discuss the next steps. After receipt, the product is carefully handled and tested according to a set test procedure.

Privacy & Data

All personal and company data shared for collaboration or shipment are kept strictly confidential. They are never resold or shared with third parties. Transparency and trust are the basis of any collaboration.

Review updates & revisions

When a product receives a significant update - for example, a firmware patch or new hardware version - the review can be reviewed or supplemented. This keeps the information current, reliable and relevant to the community.

I regularly add new observations after longer periods of use. This makes my reviews dynamic and valuable in the long run.

www.simracinghub.nl cannot be held liable for any damages, misunderstandings or incorrect purchases resulting from following advice or recommendations in my reviews. The content is purely informative and based on personal experience.

All advice, opinions and conclusions are compiled with care, but each user remains responsible for his or her own purchasing decisions.

Link listing & Backlink request

When I publish a review, I greatly appreciate it when it is also shared through the brand's platform or channels, preferably with a do-follow backlink to the original article on www.simracinghub.nl. From my side, I also always provide a do-follow backlink back to the manufacturer's domain. This creates a win-win situation where both parties benefit from increased visibility, SEO value and trust. If internal policies restrict this, this can always be agreed flexibly.

Other provisions

• No paid positive reviews: all content remains independent and fair.
• Brands may share my review subject to clear source attribution and link to the original article.
• Updates (price, specs) can be added afterwards to maintain timeliness.
• Product information may change over time; I strive for accuracy but cannot fully guarantee it.
• All terms and conditions are subject to change. The most up-to-date version is always available on this page.
