Not all Direct Drive systems are created equal. Decades of experience in force feedback technology have contributed to numerous structural and electronic optimizations in the ClubSport DD, making it perform like a leader in its class.
Smooth operation.
By dividing the rotor into offset segments, cogging torque is naturally reduced. Combined with our patented FluxBarrier technology, which increases efficiency and smoothness, this results in crisp force feedback information in every driving situation.
Consistent torque, round after round
Designed to meet stringent cooling requirements, the ClubSport DD is the most thermally stable Wheel Base in its class. You can have complete confidence that torque and force feedback will remain consistent no matter how long you drive.
Many mass-market Direct Drive systems fail to maintain their claimed torque values, gradually reducing motor performance to avoid overheating. However, the ClubSport DD's efficient motor and thermally optimized layout maintains a true 12 Nm of torque even under the most extreme conditions, such as during an endurance race with maximum force feedback settings.

The existing force feedback protocol was designed for gear and belt-driven devices - the only hardware available at the time. FullForce is a new force feedback protocol tailored specifically for FANATEC Direct Drive. Using direct drive technology, FullForce generates high-frequency vibration for a new level of immersive effects. Feel the engine speeds and details of the road surface like never before. ClubSport DD with Precision Response
Top-class slot speed performance, combined with the powerful processor, make any motor response incredibly fast and dynamic while remaining perfectly stable. This behavior is suitable for traditional force feedback signals and enhanced FullForce signals (in supported games).
Incredible power in a compact housing. The aluminum shaft in the motor is the strongest we have ever made. The location of the slip ring electronics allows for greater shaft wall thickness. The bearing seat is also all aluminum, providing strong radial loading, rotational precision and better shielding against EMI and ESD.
New Fanatec QR2
The ClubSport DD is designed from the ground up with QR2 in mind. The QR electronics module is now fully integrated with the shaft, significantly improving strength. Switching from the QR2 design to QR1 only removes the outer metal flange, meaning no electronic connection needs to be changed.
