The Sim Pedals Sprint are manufactured from CNC precision laser cut steel. All metal profiles are finished with a RAL7016 Anthracite Grey fine-textured paint or have a blonde semi-gloss metal appearance. The pedals are fully tested for EMC compliance, ensuring a stable output signal regardless of other electronic components used in your simulator. Mathematical models have been created to accurately calculate pedal travel and forces, predicting (very accurately) how each pedal behaves in different configurations. These pedals feature new concepts for bearings and pivot points to minimise unnecessary play. The Heusinkveld Sim Pedals Sprint use durable load cells to measure the position of the accelerator pedal and the force applied to the brake pedal. Unlike designs with rotary potentiometers, load cells provide true linear output in relation to your pedal output.<\/p>\n
The brake features a dual-stage braking system. This consists of an adjustable initial coil spring that simulates the distance between the brake pad and the disc, and progressive rubber springs. You can choose from six different rubber stack heights, and the angle and height of the paddle can also be adjusted. A 120 kg load cell measures up to 65 kg (143 lbs) of maximum actual braking force. This brake is ideal for sim racers who like to apply considerable force while braking, but also for sim racers who prefer much lower operating forces.<\/p>\n
The throttle is smooth, precise and highly customisable. It offers you excellent control over any race car. You can set the throttle exactly the way you want by adjusting the pedal force curve, spring preload, pedal angle and pedal height. The Sim Pedals Sprint come with a powerful configuration tool called SmartControl. This tool allows you to configure your pedals. SmartControl works with all-new electronics and allows instant mapping of (non-linear) pedal output curves, pedal kill zones and braking force. Good to know: all settings can be stored in profiles and loaded in a few mouse clicks. Also, all adjustments can be made without recalibrating the pedals.<\/p>\n
