Podium wheelbases use an outrunner-type motor specifically developed for sim racing. Instead of using any industrial engine, our custom engines are tailor-made without compromise for sim racing. Excellent acceleration, ultra-low cogging and exceptional holding torque performance provide an unprecedented driving experience.

Direct drive without hassle
It's all in the details. Our thousands of design times mean you can just ride and enjoy. The endless rotation of our direct-drive motor inspired the development of a unique solution to transfer data and power to the wheel inputs and display it wirelessly. This means no USB cables flying around that can be easily damaged and make it difficult to keep the wheel spinning in a drift.
Fully certified, Plug and Play
The Podium DD2 is the first plug-and-play direct-drive wheelbase with integrated electronics in the main housing. It is as easy to set up as our CSL and ClubSport series products. Rigorous EMI and ESD testing ensures stability and longevity.
Ready for the future
Not only is the Podium DD2 fully compatible with the existing Fanatec ecosystem, it is also prepared for future upgrades.
OLED screen
At the front of the housing is an OLED display. This offers endless possibilities, not only for tuning your wheelbase, but also functions for advanced users, displaying real-time motor and forced feedback data. Check temperatures, torque curves and avoid force feedback. Too complicated? Just enjoy the graphics.
Full compatibility with previous versions
Our tried-and-tested car-class QR has been upgraded with a new locking system, maintaining compatibility with all existing Fanatec steering wheels, but also being fully interchangeable. All new wheelbases and steering wheels have interchangeable quick-releases; in the future, you will have the option to upgrade to a new QR system.

Comptabiliteit
PC: this wheel base is PC compatible with all available steering wheels.
Xbox One®: compatibility can be extended with (optional) steering wheels such as the ClubSport steering wheel Universal Hub for Xbox One or the CSL P1 steering wheel for Xbox One. Without a licensed Xbox One® steering wheel attached, the wheel base is NOT compatible with Xbox One®.
PlayStation®: This product is not compatible with any PlayStation® console and cannot be upgraded to achieve compatibility.
