Stage wheelbases use an outrunner-type motor designed specifically for sim racing. Instead of running an industrial motor, our custom motors are tailor-made for sim racing without compromise. The Podium DD1 is not only fully compatible with the existing Fanatec ecosystem, it is also prepared for future upgrades.
German design
This heavy piece of solid metal is designed with German precision and built to last for many years. This is the last wheelbase you will ever need! The Podium DD1 is the first plug-and-play direct-drive wheelbase with integrated electronics in the main body. It is as easy to install as our CSL and ClubSport series products. Stringent EMI and ESD tests ensure stability and longevity.
Our proven car-quality QR code has been upgraded with a new locking system, which is compatible with all existing Fanatec steering wheels while being fully interchangeable. All new wheelbases and steering wheels have interchangeable quick-releases; in the future, you will have the option to upgrade to a new QR system.
OLED SCREEN
At the front of the housing is an OLED display. This offers endless possibilities, not only for fine-tuning your wheelbase, but also includes features for advanced users, showing real-time engine and force feedback data. Check temperatures, torque curves and avoid force feedback clipping. Too complicated? Just enjoy the graphics.
